Dear Dan,
In the course of the European Project iMarine and the Greek contribution
"LifeWatch Greece" to
"LifeWatch" (Europe), we have developed together with taxonomy
specialists a complete CRM-compatible solution for the below, which is
well received by biologists. Beware: It is actually
an exercise in metaclass modelling. Luckily, it can be implemented in
RDF. My colleague Chrysoula
can point you to all the publications and material.
