[Crm-sig] Bibliographic data in CRM / LIDO

Dear Regine,

This is a very good analysis. I'd like to add, that in my view,
encodings such as LIDO
etc. play the role of primary information capture - the format for the
documentalist,
and the format for curating and managing the evolution of local
knowledge. CRM and FRBRoo in
RDF/OWL on the other side, also constitute and explicit encoding, for
instance by
choosing representations of primitive values and adopting URIs. The
latter encoding
is, to my opinion, the best format for information aggregation detached
from the curation
process.

Best,

Martin
